Terms of service

Last updated: 26 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (or the organisation you act for) and Loopclub Ltd, a company registered in Delaware, USA ([REGISTERED ADDRESS]), which runs Double Agent. By installing the script, using the API or creating an account, you accept them. Questions: legal@doubleagent.so.

1. The service

Double Agent classifies website sessions as human, bot or AI agent and passes that label to tools you connect. It works through a browser script, an edge adapter, an API and a dashboard ("the service").

The labels are probabilities, not facts. Double Agent never blocks anyone on its own. It gives you a recommendation, and you decide what to do with it. Do not rely on a label alone for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person.

2. Beta and pricing

The service is in beta and free during it, within the usage limits on the pricing page. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any paid plan applies to you. Features may change during beta.

3. Accounts and keys

Keep your account and secret keys safe; you are responsible for what happens under them. Only verify domains you control. Tell us at support@doubleagent.so if a key leaks, and rotate it. We may revoke keys that are exposed publicly.

4. Keyless installs and claiming

You can install the script without an account. Data from a keyless install is held for that domain for up to 30 days and shown only to someone who proves control of the domain. If nobody claims it, it is deleted.

5. Your data and your visitors

You own your data. For personal data about visitors to your sites, you are the controller and we are your processor, under the Data Processing Agreement, which is part of these terms. You are responsible for:

You allow us to use data from the service to run, secure and improve it (including our detection models and catalog of bots and agents), and to publish aggregated statistics that do not identify any person or website. You can opt out of aggregate statistics at legal@doubleagent.so.

6. Acceptable use

Do not:

We may suspend access that puts the service or others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation during beta. We may change or discontinue features and will give notice of material changes.

8. Intellectual property

We own the service, its software, models and catalog. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms while you have access. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation. The browser SDK and the open-source parts of this project are also available under their own licences.

9. Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of classification and non-infringement.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US $100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Loopclub Ltd against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or the law, including claims from your site's visitors about decisions you made using Double Agent labels.

12. Ending

You can stop at any time: remove the script and delete your sites or account. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breach. On ending, we delete your data as described in the DPA. Sections 5 (aggregate statistics already published), 8 to 11 and 13 survive.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek urgent relief anywhere. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your country gives you. We may update these terms; material changes take effect 30 days after notice. These terms, the DPA and the pricing page are the whole agreement. If a part is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor.
